Head Start Collaboration

The early years of a child's life are full of learning, growth, and discovery. That's why partnering with Head Start is such an important part of supporting the Havasuwa Baaja community.

By working together with Head Start teachers, staff, and families, we help young children feel safe, build routines, and develop the social-emotional skills they need to thrive in school and beyond.

How I support Head Start:

- In-classroom observation and behavior coaching for children needing extra support

- Consultation with teachers and staff on calming tools and routines

- Referrals for early intervention or special education evaluation (Child Find)

- Support for parents with behavior, development, or home routines

- Participation in family meetings or care planning when requested

Little ones grow strong roots when families, schools, and community work together.

If you're a Head Start teacher, caregiver, or parent with questions or support needs,
