Some children show their needs through behavior instead of words. Whether it's frustration, fear, excitement, or sadness, big emotions can show up in classrooms and homes as acting out, shutting down, or not following directions.
I support children by helping them feel safe, seen, and understood. This work happens side-by-side with families, teachers, and caregivers.
Services include:
- One-on-one emotional check-ins with children at school
- Classroom visits to observe and support behavior
- Simple, calming tools that help students regulate
- Culturally respectful behavior plans tailored to the child
- Coaching teachers on how to respond with calm, care, and consistency - Restorative conversations to repair harm and rebuild trust
When we understand what a child is feeling, we can begin to support what they truly need. Behavior is communication — and I help everyone involved learn how to listen and respond.
